Another UFO down

Yesterday was such a BEAUTIFUL day, and the weather man was promising rain in the afternoon, so we went for a walk before the raindrops fell. The sky to the East was as blue as an ocean, but then the clouds became thicker
and the sprinkles started messing with my mascara!

So, I decided maybe I should play inside,

So, I finished the long promised lap blanket for Mr. Wonderful, my retired Marine.

He was so thrilled with it, he cuddled up with his book and his beloved remote, and proceded to fall asleep. How much more of a compliment could a wife get? A sleeping husband in his own little blankie...warms the heart, doesn't it, girls???
Hope all your Mr. Wonderful's are warm and snuggly!!

Hey Granny Lyn, the blankie is just beautiful. And a more loving gesture is hard to imagine.
Your autumn pictures are wonderful...what great shots you got!! I've chalked that finish up for you! High fives for a job well done! Hugs, Finn

Awww, what a great compliment! And the pictures are so pretty.

My future SIL is a Marine, so I may be making something similiar in the future. We'll see.

I need to make my great white hunter a camo fleece blanket for his Jeep! Might do that for Christmas although he knows about it.

Those are wonderful leaves.....nothing like that in my ncek of no woods!

Your fall pictures are lovely. I expecially like the first one. Yes all Mr. Wonderful's no matter how tough they may be need a blankey of there own to snuggle under.
